Israel’s Rafael will participate actively in the modernization of Bulgaria’s Armed Forces
SOFIA, (BM) – Israel’s state-owned RAFAEL Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. (RAFAEL), a global leading defense company, intends to actively participate in the process of modernization of the Bulgarian Army, including the ongoing project for the purchase of 150 wheeled armored vehicles for the country’s land forces, learned BulgarianMilitary.com, according company’s statement.

RAFAEL will cooperate with Bulgarian companies and establish collaboration with Bulgarian trusted partners in order to develop new projects in the area of defense industry and to facilitate local production and transfer of technology and knowledge in the country.
The Israeli company has already teamed up with one of the four prime defense contractors invited by the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense (MOD) to take part in the ongoing tender for the supply of 150 wheeled armored vehicles. RAFAEL will participate in the procedure as a key subcontractor.
