Moldova Might Has a U.S. Military Base

CHISINAU, (BM) – An American military base may appear on the territory of Moldova, learned BulgarianMilitary.com. This was reported by the Transnistrian TV channel TSV with reference to the report on the security strategy in the Black Sea region of the American research center.

American analysts in the report recommend considering the issue of deploying a US military base on a permanent basis in Moldova. In their opinion, this will help restrain Russia’s aggression and strengthen the US position in the Black Sea region, limited by the Montreux Convention.

At the same time, experts propose to trick – to draw the armed forces of Moldova into some military exercises on their own territory, deploy American troops in the republic, and then make them linger there under the pretext of the Russian threat.

The Americans used this method in Ukraine, having introduced their military contingent there supposedly for training personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Currently, the US army is present on Ukrainian territory almost on an ongoing basis, especially since the Ukrainian authorities are also happy about this.
