The report said that Pakistani specialists completed the first stage of “conceptual design” of a promising fifth-generation fighter. It is added that it is expected to carry out work at three more stages.

Alarmed in India, China has volunteered to help Pakistan create a fifth-generation aircraft. It is noted that China can partially use in cooperation with Pakistan the achievements from its J-20 fighter.

In the Pakistani media, meanwhile, they write that the latest fighter will not become a “turnkey airplane” for the country’s air force, which will be provided by Chinese partners. It is precisely about working together to create a new generation stealth fighter.

A statement by former Pakistan Air Force commander Soheil Aman is cited: “Pakistan collaborates with Chinese experts in the production of next-generation aircraft.”

To implement this project, Pakistan plans to create a special technological and economic zone, in which Chinese specialists will be actively involved.

And just a few days ago, the chief of staff of the Indian Air Force Marshal of Aviation Rakesh Bhadauria said that India would not buy 5-generation fighters abroad, and “will soon create its own stealth fighter.” Indian experts were embarrassed by the word “soon”, because earlier it was reported that such a plane in India (AMCA) will appear no earlier than 2030 of the year.
