Turkey is Looking for New Fighter Jets and Considers Buying Russian Su-35

ANKARA, (BM) – The Turkish government is considering Russia’s proposal to purchase a batch of Su-35 fighter jets, learned BulgarianMilitary.com, quoting News.ru.

According to the Yeni Safak newspaper, Turkish authorities asked all the relevant departments to evaluate the Russian proposal. The negotiations with Russia will star if the positive feedback is given, informs the newspaper.

Ankara has not given the official comments on the possible Su-35 purchase, notes RIA Novosti news agency.

Earlier, the head of Rostec state corporation Sergey Chemezov said that Moscow was ready to sell the Su-35 jets to Turkey. The United States previously excluded Turkey from the F-35 program after the start of deliveries of the Russian S-400 air defense systems to the country.
