Russia Creates Military Anti-Hacker Special-Units

MOSCOW, (BM) – The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will create special units to protect the “military Internet”, learned BulgarianMilitary.com, quoting Izvestia.

According to official military source, special units plans to search and neutralize virtual threats. The protection software has already been developed. It is clarified that thanks to the new system, access to the network from the outside will be practically impossible.

The Ministry of Defense also noted that such units will exclusively include officers with special technical education.

Earlier, the Russian army tested the operation of the long-range “military Internet”.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation began to create a sovereign Internet in 2019. The closed digital information exchange system has been called the multi-service transport communications network (MSTCN).
