On May 20, the U.S. DoD Signed Contracts with Suppliers Totaling $600 Million
WASHINGTON (BM) – According official statement of U.S. DoD, the signed contracts by the US Department of Defense (DoD) on May 20, 2019 are as follows:
NAVY – General Dynamics Electric Boat (GDEB), Groton, Connecticut, is awarded a $497,012,105 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously-awarded contract (N00024-17-C-2117) for a submarine industrial base development and expansion in support of Columbia-class fleet ballistic missile submarines, as well as the nuclear shipbuilding enterprise (Virginia class and Ford class), as part of the integrated enterprise plan and multi-program material procurement and production backup units.
Expeditionary Technical Solutions Inc., Oceanside, California, is awarded a $12,629,541 firm-fixed-price task order for test and engineering technical support services to the Combat Operations Center (COC) and Tactical Systems Oriented Architecture (TSOA) programs for the Marine Corps – Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA).
ARMY – Northrop Grumman, Herndon, Virginia, was awarded an $18,635,961 modification (P00113) to contract W911S0-11-C-0014 for technical services.
Sapper Construction LLC, Omaha, Nebraska, was awarded a $7,930,154 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of new parking areas.
DEFENSE HEALTH AGENCY – Minburn Technology Group, Great Falls, Virginia (HT0015-19-F-0055), was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for $11,859,991. This is an enterprise-level order that provides Hewlett Packard end user devices (laptops) for the Military Health System.
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY – Oshkosh Defense LLC, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, has been awarded a maximum $10,893,247 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for hydraulic transmissions.
DRS Network & Imaging Systems LLC, Melbourne, Florida, has been awarded a $9,604,175 firm-fixed price, one-time buy for optical sighting and ranging equipment.
DRS Network & Imaging Systems LLC, Melbourne, Florida, has been awarded a $7,176,948 firm-fixed price, one-time buy for optical sighting and ranging equipment.
AIR FORCE – Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., McLean, Virginia, has been awarded a $9,128,465, bilateral modification (P00009) to previously awarded FA8819-18-F-0002 for additional battle management command and control systems engineering architecture modeling space support.
