The company was founded 200 years ago and now it has 5,600 employees, with an annual turnover of over EUR 1 billion. John Cockerill is the only company in the world producing combat domes designed on a modular principle. This means that the combat machine can change the caliber of its gun. The time for a gun change, for example a 30 mm caliber replaced with a 40 mm caliber, is 1 hour, but a well-trained crew does it for 10 minutes.

“Our domes provide the highest quality throughout the lifecycle of the combat machines, which is from 30 to 50 years,” said Bear Midkiff, company’s Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe.
