Earlier, a source from the military-industrial complex told TASS that the Northern Design Bureau had begun to develop project documentation for the modernized frigates of the 22350M project. He noted that the water displacement of the frigates was planned to increase to 7,000 tons, while the maximum shipload of cruise missiles on board was up to 48 units. Moreover, the new frigates should receive a unified, universal, automated fire control system for all types of ship’s weapons.
