Naval Group and Royal IHC Signed a Partnership Agreement

PARIS, France (BulgarianMilitary.com) – Last week, on 7th February 2019, Naval Group announced the signing of an agreement with the Dutch company Royal IHC for becoming partners in the bid for the submarine replacement project of the Netherlands, learned BulgarianMilitary.com

Hervé Guillou, Naval Group CEO, said during the signing ceremony, “Naval Group aims for a long-term presence in the Netherlands and has built a robust network of over seventy Dutch industrial partners. We have been engaging actively with the Dutch industry and knowledge centres for over a year and a half and have reinforced our local footprint with several important milestones such as the creation of Naval Group subsidiary in the Netherlands. Today, we are joining our strengths together with Royal IHC to support the Netherlands MOD getting the most capable submarine responding to the specific needs of a first-rank NATO partner.”

Thus, it is establish a robust core team, combining the complementary experience and expertise of the companies in designing and manufacturing complex maritime and defence systems, which will be “able to offer the best solution for the Netherlands Submarine Replacement programme,” as commented by the Chief Executive Officer of Royal IHC, Dave Vander Heyde.
