In August last year the JFMT was successfully accredited by the United Kingdom Joint Air Land Organisation (JALO) when it met all United States and NATO requirements for providing simulated CAS training. The accreditation of the Joint Fires Mobile Trainer covers simulation of all currently allowable controls (types 1, 2, and 3, Full Motion Video, Rotary Wing, Night/IR, Remote Observer and Laser Target Designation).

The JFMT is available for purchase as a standalone system. However, under the above agreement, it is delivered as a completely serviced training package, all contained within a versatile 20ft trailer able to be deployed and recovered by vehicles within a short time. The system includes an IOS (instructor/operator) station, a trainee station, as well as a pilot station console. Visuals feature a high resolution dome configuration in combination with a powerful and intuitive CGF (Computer Generated Force) and SAF (Semi-Autonomous Force) application. The Image Generation is multi-spectral and allows use of in-service Night Vision Devices together with laser designators, radios and binoculars that offer trainees an experience of the type “train as you fight”. The service is managed, delivered and maintained by a team of ex-military subject matter specialists.
