Inzpire Announced the Completion of GECO System Deliveries under the CSAT Program

LINCOLN, the UK (BulgarianMilitary.com) – Inzpire Ltd, one of the fastest growing defence companies in the UK, announced at the end of last week (14th December 2018) that it has completed the deliveries of its GECO System to UK MoD Apache, Chinook, Merlin and Bell helicopter forces after the winning the competition for the Cockpit Situational Awareness Tool (CSAT) Program, learned BulgarianMilitary.com

The company received the relevant contract in May this year, and since then Inzpire has delivered GECO Systems, including the relevant operator training for personnel based at Wattisham, Middle Wallop, Odiham, Culdrose, Akrotiri and Brunei under the CSAT Programme.

The GECO System, developed by Inzpire, is a full touchscreen solution, easily operated with a gloved hand that can be hand-held, knee-mounted or platform-mounted and has the capability of acting as an additional cockpit MFD (Multi-Functional Display), either stand alone or integrated with the aircraft. The system is intended for improving the mission safety by its suite of safety and aircrew assistance applications. The situational awareness and decision assistance applications provided by the system increase mission effectiveness.

Presently, there are over 400 GECO Systems in service with the Royal Navy, Army Air Corps and the Royal Air Force, as well as with overseas customers including the Royal Jordanian Air Force and the Indonesian Air Force.
