Northrop Grumman Selected by DIA to Support its Science and Technology Directorate

The award was made by the agency under its HELIOS Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. HELIOS IDIQ supports the Defence Intelligence Agency’s mission in developing and delivering leading edge scientific and technical capabilities.

HELIOS is divided into two major technical areas. The goal of these areas is to enhance intelligence; provide strategic warning; and inform research and development, acquisition and operational activities.

It is planned Northrop Grumman to provide the agency with advanced capabilities for its science and technology missions under the mentioned contract.

Our work will help ensure the agency can identify, develop and execute the evolving technical capabilities that allow the intelligence community, combatant commands and other federal agencies to achieve mission success.”

The ceiling of the contract is $500 million. This allows the company to continue providing support to the Defence Intelligence Agency in cross-cutting and multidomain sensor and mission technologies, including full systems life cycle development and support. The works will be executed in Cincinnati, Ohio; Fairfax, Virginia; Huntsville, Alabama and Tucson, Arizona.
