The Deputy Minister Zapryanov further explained that the invitation for a visit to the USA concerns military technical consultations and added, “We can receive such invitations not only from the USA, but from each of the rest countries. We will respond positively to each invitation, because our goal is to clearly state what our requirements are during the consultations. There are indications that there will be invitations from other participants as well. We maintain full transparency and equality between all countries that will participate in the procedure.”
The agreed deadline for the preparation and submission of the offers is only three months as the planned financial resources shall be utilized till the end of this year.
“We consider that such military-technical consultations would facilitate our partners for preparing their answers to us quicker. If there are incomplete offers, we will lose time to clarify them, and the deadline for receipt of the answers is 1st October 2018,” said Atanas Zapryanov and added, “There cannot be anything non-transparent, because the contract then must be discussed at sessions of the Government and the Parliament.”
