In the end of March, sixteen new automobiles Nissan X-Trail of our Border Police left the territory of the industrial park of Opticoelectron. The reason was the completed execution of a joint contract between the official representative of Nissan for Bulgaria and Opticoelectron for providing the automobiles with specialized equipment, needed for the daily security and defence activities at the Bulgarian border.

During the past few months the engineers and experts of the optical company has provided and equipped the off-road vehicles in question with light and sound signalling system, identification signs, signs and emblems, as well as with additional specialized equipment.

Opticoelectron confirmed that the vehicles in question will be allocated along the border of Bulgaria.

In the end of 2017 N Auto Sofia EAD was awarded the public procurement for delivery of off-road vehicles, and in November they selected Opticoelectron for execution of a part of the procurement related to the specialized equipment.

Such procurements are not a precedent for Opticoelectron. We’d like to remind that during the past few years the Company has successfully implemented lots of projects outside Bulgaria connected with manufacturing, assembly and integration of mobile systems for surveillance of borders and big oil fields in Europe and the Middle East.
