In 2018 significant international presence is expected during the military exhibition of defence, anti-terrorism and security “Hemus” in the town of Plovdiv in the end of May and the beginning of June.
Two years ago the exhibition was visited by 21 official foreign delegations from Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. For the upcoming thirteen edition of the exhibition in 2018, it has been invited 57 countries, the European Defence Agency and the National Armaments Directors of 32 countries.
For the upcoming exhibition, the event organizers have extended invitations to four key NATO agencies, and namely: Communications and Information Agency, Maintenance Agency, Science and Technology Organisation Agency, and Defence Investment Agency of the International Secretariat.
According to the organizers, this year the international presence will be even more prominent due to the fact that the International Scientific Conference, as a part of the accompanying programme of the exhibition, will be held as an event from the calendar of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
